Below is a list of each ranking and what their jobs are, and what we ask of each and every person. Keep in mind that no matter your standing in the free company, we would like to ask that each individual take the time out and help the group as a whole. This could be anything ranging from assistance to the newer players, or returning veterans via content clears, to the beautiful dailies we've come to all know and love and everything else in between!

Lord Commander (Master)

The group leader who handles both the company politics as well as website, scheduling meetings, and group branding. Questions, concerns or anything else can be brought to him.

Pontifax (Officer)

Officers perform many types of duties to support the leadership, free company, and help to keep it running as smoothly as possible. Akin to the legacy rank, officers also moderate the free company chat in addition to other more administrative duties.

Events

• Suggest events that you would enjoy doing.
• Organize and/or run events
• Join in events where applicable
• Help FC with materials or gil donations

Website

• Check website for updates
• Post suggestions
• Update and maintain website

Membership

• Help new recruits get settled in
• Help other members

Policy and Chat

• Moderate FC chat
• Address policy violations
• Notify Leader and co-leader of any problems
• Take screenshots of any problems
• May dismiss, but only in emergency situations, (Co-leader and Leader must be notified with screenshots)
• Invite to FC only once application has been approved by Yunie and Vice
• Promote, demote, kick with Yunie and Vice's approval or in emergency situations.
• Edit short message

FC Materials & Workshop Progression

• Help FC with materials or gil donations
• Crafting and gathering for FC materials
• Help create Aetherial wheels in workshop
• Charge Aetherial wheels for usage
• Help progress items in workshop
• Aetherial wheel execution

Role Perks

• Diadem access - initiate diadem mission
• Stable chocobo
• Feed chocobo
• Full Chest access
• Execute and disregard actions
• Spend Company credits
• Free Company House - place, move and remove furniture items.
• Airship - can send out on regular missions

Guardian (Mod)

This level is for our moderators. We look to these people to ensure the environment is warm and fuzzy for everyone, as well as helping out with a little of this-n-that when the officers/leaders retire for that silly little thing we call life.

This level is for our regular membership. It is the middle rank and where most people find themselves.

Squire (Recruits)

An entry level into our group. There is a 30 day probation period. People in this group are not expected to donate to the free company, but may choose to.

• Getting Started on the website
• Get to know people
• Ask questions
• Link profile (*optional)
• Join the Facebook Page (*optional)

Events

• Join in events where applicable.
• Suggest events that you would enjoy doing.

Website

• Familiarize with the website
• Post suggestions

On Purchasing Free Company Private Chambers

It is suggested to wait to purchase Private Chambers at the FC house until after the promotion to member. Private Chambers are available to characters level 50 in one of the classes. They must have the rank of Second Lieutenant in their respective Grand Companies. Each room will cost 300,000 gil, (which is non-refundable.) To buy a private chamber, go to your Free Company House, enter the estate and click “Entrance to Private Chambers” then choose “Purchase Private Chambers”.

Promotions and Demotions

Many FCs use promotions and demotions to reward or reprimand their members. CK has a different approach to this idea.

Promotions

As our ranks are responsibility based, availability and acceptance of the responsibilities required to help the FC are the reasons people are promoted. Moving up in the ranks is open to people whom are willing to fulfill the duties of the station. If you're looking to be promoted, event involvement and helping the FC in a number of ways, will grant recognition from the leadership.

Demotions

Demotions are simply people needing to change their pace, and does not indicate lesser importance or denote any wrong doing on their part.
